Ready to challenge yourself, grow stronger, and connect with a supportive triathlon community? This 8-week Florida-based triathlon training camp, led by Certified Triathlon Coach Lauren Helton
Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the ropes or a seasoned pro wanting to fine-tune your skills, this camp is perfect for you. You can expect a supportive, fun, and challenging environment to elevate your performance.
We are training for the Space Coast Triathlon/Duathlon October 12, 2025, but this is not necessary to participate in camp.
Optional Add-Ons: Custom 1-on-1 training plans, nutrition coaching, and more.
This camp is open to all ages and levels, from first timers to veterans. Come solo or bring your friends for 8 weeks of swim, bike, run, strength, friendship, and fun!

My triathlon journey began in middle school when I did the swim portion of a relay leg of a triathlon in Clermont, FL. I thought it was the coolest thing ever—but I also believed I could never complete a triathlon solo. That mindset started to shift in high school, when my swim coach believed in me more than I believed in myself. She was training for a triathlon and invited me to join her. That year, I completed my first sprint—the Pineapple Man Triathlon—and it completely changed my life.
Buoyed by that success, I signed up for more races. I knew I had the potential to get faster and stronger, even though running felt impossibly hard. I had big goals—but no idea how to reach them. Deep down I thought I wasn’t “good enough” to hire a coach. I wanted one, but I didn’t yet believe in myself enough to ask. So I pieced things together alone, learning through trial and error… There were breakthroughs and face-plants, personal bests and a lot of missed starting lines. Looking back, I realize I unintentionally slowed my own growth by waiting for some imaginary “good-enough” moment.
Moral of the story: you don’t have to be good enough or bad enough to deserve guidance. If you have the desire to grow, a trusted partnership will get you to your goals with far less struggle—so don’t wait!
Triathlon has become more than a sport to me—it’s a lifestyle, a mindset, and a tool for growth. I have experienced a fulfillment and enriched life through training, racing and best of all, the relationships that have been formed. I am excited to experience and share more with you!

I didn’t grow up thinking I could be a triathlete. In fact, I believed I was too big for this sport. I remember reading The Fat Triathlete and thinking, Could that be me? Could I really do this?
Eventually, I gathered the courage to register for my first triathlon—but I hadn’t trained nearly enough. My husband and I didn’t feel comfortable with me racing, so I didn’t show up. I regretted it deeply.
But I didn’t let that be the end of my story. I trained, showed up, and finished my very first triathlon in November 2016 at the Captain Hiram’s River Challenge.
As a former high school swimmer, I expected the swim to be easy—but open water humbled me fast. Still, I pushed through, conquered the swim, and went on to finish the bike and run. I may have been one of the last to cross the line, but I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve completed everything from sprint triathlons to Ironman distances. Triathlon has changed how I see my body and what it’s capable of. It brings me joy—not because of how I look, but because of how I feel.
I became a coach to help others discover that same joy. Whether you’re brand new to endurance sports or working toward your next big goal, I’m here to help you believe in your ability, train with purpose, and chase the finish line with confidence.
